Prior adult imprisonment

At 30 June 2015:

  • Over three-quarters (77%) of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander prisoners had experienced adult imprisonment prior to the current term, compared to half (50%) of non-Indigenous prisoners. (Table 8)
